Card Blanks


Card blankPopular card blanks are half fold Gatefold card blank (as picture) , Foil blocked, Wraps or Wallets.
Ready cut Card Inserts are always handy for printing your invitation wording rather than directly onto the card blank.

 

Envelopes

Envelopes Try to use a matching envelope, however craft brown, gold and silver works well with almost all coloured card

 

 

Glues

You don't need all of these, just choose the ones you required for your project.

Glue StickUhu stick for sticking paper to card, it won't get absorbed by paper and is almost invisible.

 

 


PVA gluePVA glue such as Anitas tacky Glue, use it to stick beads, flowers, and other heavy objects, use a small artists brush to apply. Dries clear

 

 

Tulip PaintTulip paint is a perfect adhesive for glitters, quite fine lines and detail can be obtained.

 

Double sided tape Double sided tape, use to stick paper, mirror board etc. great for sticking inserts to card blanks.


Glue Dots Glue Dots are very versatile, they're basically small blobs of glue, use them to stick beads, flowers and card etc.

 


Adhesive Velcro Dots are great for sticking anything with a flap!

 



Papers

Mulberry Paper
Mulberry papers makes a great backdrop, find out how to fray the paper in our very first project back in 2001.


 

 

Peel-off Stickers

 Peel off stickers
Easy to use, add text and picture to your cards, you can change the the colour of peel-offs using an Identipen or add colour to peel off images using tulip pens.

 

 

 

Embellishments

Card Embellishments Embellishments are ready made decorations, there are now so many including paper flowers, metal embellishments, die cut shapes, ribbons and many more.

 

Card Making tools

You need at the very minimum a craft knife, Scissors and a cutting mat.
Optional extras include tweezers, craft punches, a die cutting machine such as a Sizzix Big Shop, Cuttlebug or Cricut.
